Flood affected communities need your help

Our district has suffered an unprecedented flood event with thousands of people now homeless or having to return to homes severely damaged. We provided immediate support through cooking at evacuation centres and through assisting in evacuations and clean ups. During the relief phase we provided direct support such as the provision of vouchers for food, fuel or hardware. Now in the recovery phase, we are involved in projects such as a 'Mould Treatment Project' for hundreds of homes, the 55 ex-resort beds & 'Bedding Packs' for flood affected families, as well as helping to keep the various Recovery Hubs in the seven towns stocked. Please assist us if you can by donating with credit/debit card using the button below. If you would like more information email lennoxhead.nsw@lions.org.au . We pledge that all monies received will go directly to flood affected people in the Northern Rivers.
Thank you, Janelle Gaggin President.

For tax deductible & large donations it is also possible to make donations to the general flood appeal through the Australian Lions Foundation.

Lennox Lions Flood Appeal

Since early March Lennox Head Lions have distributed over $150,000 in flood relief so far. We have directly supported affected and displaced people in West Ballina, Wardell and Relief Centres in the shire - as well as Broadwater, Woodburn, Evans Head, Coraki and Bungawalbin. We provided non perishable items and cleaning products and have now established store-voucher distribution to benefit those who are most flood affected. We continue to work closely with those on the ground to ensure our support is targeted, and are still now coming across additional displaced and affected communities that need assistance. We are able to do this because of the support of our community throughout the year and especially through some very generous direct donations at the moment. Thank you.

We provide a unique service club membership and we have a few, interesting projects on the go right now. In keeping with the club ethics they are humanitarian, community spirited, fun and manageable.

We would love for you to join us. If you have a little spare time, have an interest in helping your community, and philanthropy, we'd love to hear from you.

Our members are dedicated to making our community a better place to live, work and grow.
